The modernization of the Control Room at the Calusco d’Adda cement plant in Bergamo, Italy, has been completed. The facility is operated by Heidelberg Materials Italia, a major international company in the building materials industry.
As part of the project developed by Gruppo SET, Bosco supplied its TeKno technical control room consoles, helping create a modern, functional operating environment designed to meet the demanding requirements of a continuous-process industrial plant.
As a manufacturer of control room furniture and operator consoles, Bosco provides solutions designed to combine ergonomics, modularity and efficient equipment integration for industrial monitoring and process control applications.
For the new Calusco d’Adda Control Room, the TeKno consoles were installed in a horseshoe-shaped configuration, a highly functional layout for industrial control and monitoring environments.
This arrangement distributes operator workstations across a wide operational area, improving monitor visibility, communication between operators and coordination of daily activities.
The modular design of the consoles made it possible to create a continuous, integrated workstation layout, tailored to the room’s dimensions and the specific technical requirements of the project. The spacious central area facilitates movement and provides easy access to the individual workstations, contributing to a well-organized, practical and efficient working environment.

The TeKno technical control room consoles are designed to meet the requirements of modern control rooms, where reliability, durability and ergonomics are essential for effective day-to-day operations.
In these environments, operator comfort is not simply a matter of well-being: it is an important factor in supporting work quality, concentration and operational efficiency.
The TeKno control consoles combines spacious work surfaces, dedicated monitor mounting systems and carefully engineered construction features to support the efficient organization of equipment and operating tools.
A key feature of these operator workstations is the ability to integrate electronic equipment directly into the console structure. The consoles include dedicated technical compartments for housing electronic devices, together with solutions for cable routing and cable management.
These features help maintain an organized workstation, support equipment integration and provide a practical foundation for industrial control room applications requiring continuous process supervision.
