The control room commissioned by Valtellina S.p.a. is strategically located in the main space to maximize efficiency and coordination of activities. Placing the control center in the main space immediately identifies it as the decision-making and operational hub of the entire facility.
Operators are arranged in three parallel rows, each composed of 2500XL Series Control Consoles that accommodate a total of 12 operators. The row configuration allows for a large number of workstations (four workstations per row) to be arranged in an orderly fashion, facilitating collaboration between front-line teams and supervisors. Each operator station is equipped with ergonomic monitor arms for dual screens, ensuring comfortable and healthy working conditions.
Valtellina S.p.a. choice of the 2500XL Control Console was driven by its simplicity, lightweight design, and advanced integrated technology. This console excels in durability, being constructed with the highest-quality materials and designed to ensure maximum functionality in mission-critical environments, 24/7.
The control consoles are oriented toward an impressive VideoWall 1000 Base structure composed of eight 55-inch professional LCD monitors. The lower modules serve as electrical cabinets for housing hardware/software (video/SCADA/19" rack).
